Leading Kids to Love God, Love Others, and Be the Hands and Feet of Jesus!

When you entrust us with your child, we do not take that lightly! Kids church provides safe, clean and fun environments as we teach from the Bible, sing songs, and participate in activities to connect kids to the lesson and to each other. From infants to 5th grade, we welcome your child with open arms. As support, a resource and a helping hand in teaching your children about Jesus, Church at Addis Kidz Ministry will walk alongside your family as you grow in your relationship with the Lord together.

Follow Addis Kids:

Early Childhood

Infants—Pre-K 4

We have two main goals in our Early Childhood Ministry: (1) Help children understand that God made them, He loves them, and Jesus wants to be their friend. (2) Partner with you, as a parent, and equip you to teach and model for your child how to follow Jesus and live a life of faith.

Elementary

Kindergarten-5th Grade

We provide safe spaces where kids can be themselves, learn about God, and be in community with each other. We learn by having fun, asking questions, and applying our Bible lessons to our lives.

What to Expect

Rest assured, security is our number one priority.

When you arrive with your child in the children’s ministry area, you will be greeted by one of our friendly, experienced volunteers who will enter your information in our advanced security tag check-in system. After entering your information, your child is issued a unique code. That matching code will be given to the parent/guardian of that child. You will need that card with the code in order to check the child out, so it’s important to hang on to it during service. As an added safety measure, we do not release children to anyone under the age of 18– including older siblings. Be sure to fill out our Early Check-In form to make your first visit easier!

All children's ministry volunteers must attend all bi-annual training sessions throughout the year. No matter how experienced they are, or how long they have been serving in children’s ministry, it is still easy to fall into comfort or get lax. That is why we get together twice a year and refresh on our policies and procedures manual and review all new and previously implemented safety guidelines with them.
